DOT Physicals

We offer affordable Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examinations at Jeeo Health Center. Our office is very driver friendly. Dr. Gurwinder is a Certified Medical Examiner in the FMCSA National Registry. Dr. Gurwinder’s family owns a trucking company so she knows the ins and outs of what a trucking company needs. We offer fair, ethical, consistent DOT physical exams.

Truck Drivers, Bus drivers, CDL (Commercial Drivers License) applicants or holders, Ambulance drivers (EMTs) and crane operators are required to get DOT Physical/CDL Medical Exam.

What to bring in during the physical:

  • Valid photo ID
  • Glasses, if you wear them
  • List of medications you take
  • Hearing aids, if you wear them

DOT Drug Test

DOT Drug Test is a urine drug test. Urine sample will be collected and sent to HHS certified lab.

Please note that DOT drug test is not an Instant drug test. DOT requires the urine to be sent to HHS certified lab after the collection.

Breath Alcohol Test

DOT alcohol test is a breath alcohol test where the driver/client will have to blow into a breathalyzer.

Breath Alcohol Tests are done by us using federally approved devices known as Evidential Breath Testers (EBTs), to ensure zero false positives. A deep lung sample will ensure that the test results closely reflect, the amount of alcohol in the blood stream.

How to interpret this test result

  • Any result of 0.080 or more, is meant to be “driving while intoxicated.”
  • 0.030 may be considered as “driving under the influence.”
  • For a truck driver or a pilot, a result above 0.040 is considered to be positive.
